At Matheson Brewers, we believe in sourcing the best and, wherever possible, local ingredients to craft our beers. Our core range begins with malted Laureate barley sourced from the talented craftsmen at Crafty Maltsters in Fife.

With a small-scale system that has a maximum output of 100 litres, we focus on the art of making great-tasting beer with just four key ingredients: malted barley, water, hops, and yeast. From the mash tun to the fermentation vessel, we carefully nurture our beers, bottling them only when they have been conditioned to perfection. We take pride in our bottle-conditioned beers, which provide a natural, soft carbonation that enhances the flavour experience.
